Womanhood has always been a struggle for me. I am a woman who was raised by a broken woman because she was raised by one. A lot of basic education to thrive, I didn’t receive which led to a lot of mistakes; some more detrimental than others—from being sexually abused to being mentally taken advantage of. The journey to learn myself and teach myself to the best version of not only a woman, but a mother, has been one of the biggest eye openers.
There’s no such thing as knowing it all. Today I am grateful and blessed to be able to be here and to have a healthy baby boy. I have survived this journey after almost losing it so many times.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it is okay to not be okay. You got this!
