Where do the donations go when donating at events or on the website?
Donation proceeds will be donated to local women shelters and single mothers experiencing poverty in Colorado. Dear Women LLC will gain sponsorships from women shelters to potentially speak at events and event goers will have the opportunity to donate to the selected shelter. When allowed, a woman from a shelter or a woman that has been discovered to be homeless, will be selected for an opportunity to have funds raised for their needs (i.e. groceries, medications, clothing, etc.)—that money will also be raised through donations.
For those not able to attend events and donate in person, information for the current shelter sponsoring Dear Women, LLC or the woman whom funds are being raised for will be shared on the website under the ‘Donations’ tab with additional details regarding their mission and/or story.

Absolutely! Dear Women, LLC will typically host 2 to 3 events a year. It is important to us as a Women Empowerment business, to facilitate multiple get togethers to consistently provide a safe space for women to build confidence, friendships, and utilize the women around them for any additional help such as advice or resources. On our Facebook page, we will have a Mental Health Monday where administrators will ask prompting questions regarding mental health—women will be given the opportunity to express how they are feeling mentally, seek help & advice from peers, and resources for additional help from professionals. There will also be facilitated group sessions via zoom or in-person, where women can gather, creating a safe environment for women to share their stories and seek encouragement and be uplifted throughout their mental health journey.
Lastly, there is a ‘Girl Talk’ tab on our website where women can submit their information, topic of discussion (even if there is more than one), and their preferred chat method. This allows you the opportunity to essentially vent to someone on our team to clear your conscious, heart, and hopefully feel lighter.
